About Us

Quilter's Threads is an online store providing fine threads, patterns, notions and embellishments. Quilters Keep Learning is a subsidiary presenting online classes. We have classes for both the art quilter and the traditional quilter.

We are located in Mukilteo, Washington near Seattle. Quilter's Threads is owned by Diane Harman-Hoog and Carl Hoog. Diane has been a quilter for 24 years and has been sewing for over 60 years. She is a thread junkie and avidly tries to addict people to quilting. One of her pleasures has been to help other quilters learn new skills and so it is a real dream come true to be able to offer these online classes.

Diane is retired from Microsoft so having Quilter's Threads and Quilters Keep Learning gives her the opportunity to combine her love of threads, quilting and teaching with her computer skills.

Carl is not a quilter, but he works at Boeing as a Financial Analyst and does things like taxes, proof reading and listening to Diane's crazy ideas.
