Your photo

Your photo must not be too large to upload to the gallery or to a forum. You can reduce the size of your file ina grphics editor. In Photoshop Elements the commands are Image/Resize and in Paint select Image Attributes. Enter a width of about 600 pixels. If you have an oportunity reduce the quality to Medium when you save it.

Save the file.

Uploading Files to the Gallery

Login to the gallery at http://www.quilterskeeplearning.com/public_html/index.php

In the top set of information Choose Upload File

A dialog screen comes up.

First you must Browse for your file, that is locate it  and select it on your PC through the window provided next to the Browse Command.

Then click on continue.

The next page should give you a successful upload message. Click Continue again.

In the next screen, you will select your class album from the drop down box. It may only show one class.

There you can also add a title and description for your uploaded file if you wish.

Hit continue again and your photo should be successfully placed in your class album

Uploading Files to the Forum

Login to your class site

Open a post to the forum

When the post is open, place your cursor on the spot in the message where you want to insert a picture.

Click on the picture on the tool bar that looks like a tree in a frame.

A dialog box occurs.

Follow the directions to upload a file.

Browse for the file on your PC and select it.

]Choose Upload.

When the file appears in the list on the screen, click on the box in front of the file name and then say OK.
