Welcome to the May term of Quilter's Keep Learning. I am a little late at getting this class access letter out as somehow I lost a week this month and was convinced that today was May 8 until one of you students told me it was the 14th. I am sending you your access material, but classes are not officially in place until 5PM PDT on Friday. In some cases your material for the first class is there and in some cases it is not or is still in the process of being typed in. Remember, anything you see now might change by the official start time. I send the logins early to be sure all the kinks are worked out before classes start
You get to your class material by entering http://www.quilterskeeplearning.com/courses in the address space on your browser.
This will bring up a login screen. Your username is the first name that you used when you signed up and the first 3 letters of your last name. If you were a student last term, your username and password are the same as they were when you took that class.
Example: My name is Diane Harman-Hoog. My login name is dianehar. Note only small letters are used.
The password is class6 for everyone unless you were a student last term. It is a good idea to change that to one you want to use.
After you login you should have access to the class you signed up for. Sometimes I make an error on this so if it is wrong or you cannot login, just email me at diane@quiltersthreads.com and I will fix it as fast as I can. You can also call me at 888-473-7821. This is toll free. I live on the USA West coast, please do not call me at 4:30 in the morning my time. I am 3 hours earlier than New York. (When it is 7:30 there it is 4:30 here.)
The gallery is now working. The url you use in your browser is http://www.quilterskeeplearning.com/public_html/index.php Your login there is the same as the above login. However, they are 2 separate programs. If you change your password in one place it will not be changed in the other place. You will have to make 2 changes.
You can also include a picture by attaching a file to a forum message. All the class members will be able to see it.
